About Me
Welcome! I’m so glad you stopped by. I’d love to discuss the ways I can offer you support.
My pronouns are she/her.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Canadian Certified Counsellor under the supervision of Meg Hasek-Watt, Registered Psychologist.
I offer a diverse set of skills and knowledge. From my background in kinesiology and public health, to my experience with different counselling modalities, I am confident I can work with you to find what you need. This is not me telling you what you need though. I strive to make you and I partners on your journey to wellbeing.
I strive to cultivate a safe and judgement-free space where clients feel able to express themselves; and explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Sometimes exploring these things can be scary. We will go slow and work at a pace that is best for you.
I work with clients of diverse backgrounds, and offer gender-affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and culturally-sensitive approaches to counselling. I am also honoured to be a member of the Skipping Stone Trans Affirming Network. Some of the areas I work in are: ADHD and autism; chronic pain and chronic illness; workplace and academic stress; pre and post partum; pregnancy and child loss; and experiences of trauma including PTSD and CPTSD.
I am also a trained Yoga Nidra instructor. If you wish to discuss the possibility of doing a Yoga Nidra session with me, please contact me.
I look forward to connecting with you, and learning and exploring together. I encourage you to consider doing a complementary first session with me. This will provide an opportunity for us to see whether we will be a good fit for each other.
Please feel free to connect with me directly if you have any questions.
On a more personal note, I love to create. You can find me making all sorts of things. I love crafting homemade soap and hand washes. I am also self-taught in crochet and knitting and I love doing jigsaw puzzles.
